The greatest treasure in all creation: a heart. Just as we have lost our wonder at the natural world around us, we have forgotten what a treasure the human heart is. I’m deeply imbedded in the mystical story of creation, the story of life with a heart, of being one with the land. Through the “eyes of my heart” I explore. I let my spirit drive my vision, uncertain of the story that is yet to be revealed. As I encounter the effects of nature on the landscape, a disaster in natural history or the ruins of ancient societies, I sense the spirit of a past life years prior to now. By using my heart, the spirit within me connecting, I give my view of what may have taken place, the healing through a story. It is the beginning of a whole new life in wholeness transcending the invisible, to visible. Through the use of an impressionist style I let my inner spirit escape in an almost mythical idealized view, revealing the remnants of past stories buried deep within, released now to have their own perspective from years of transformation. The voice of my explorer, is free, releasing pent up energy into what I see and experience as valuable and worthy.
